The simplest way to achieve this goal is with CallTower's CT Cloud Analyze hardware: a remote sensor placed in a customer's network.  While other monitoring devices only test the router or internet connection, CT Cloud Analyze sits where a phone or Softphone enabled computer would sit. Through a WIFI or direct connection, simulated voice traffic is sent every 30-seconds and mirrored to CallTower - providing real-time and historical QOS data.
